This aromatic and creamy single origin is produced by eight different cooperatives consisting of over 5,600 members who are represented by PNG Coffee Cup. This particular lot is sourced from the Chimbu region, where the coffee cherries are hand-pulped and washed in the pristine tributaries of the Waghi River before being dried and carried to the nearest road transportation to the dry processing factory in Goroka.
In 2003, PNG Coffee Cup representatives in the Chimbu province arranged for an organic auditor to certify their smallholder farms and the organic capacity of the group its around 340,000kgs of green bean annually.
Pairing subtle and light citrus notes with a creamy full bodied mouth feel, this coffee will appeal to those who wish to have their coffee both with and without milk.
